Vegan cookie dough balls - bible

                                              Vegan cookie dough balls

Every week I am going to be blogging about a new vegan dish that I will be trying. And this week I will be baking vegan cookie dough balls. Everyone loves cookie dough and I know I can't make a batch of cookies with out licking the spoon. But sometimes it does make you fill sick, especially if your eating raw cookie dough with animal products in them. So I came up with a solution, vegan cookie dough does not contain any raw ingredients that will upset your tummy so you can eat till your hearts content.

For the recipe you will need

Six ounces of cooked chick peas rinsed and dried

Three table spoons of raw organic honey

1 table spoon of coconut palm sugar

1/8 teaspoon of baking soda

4 table spoons of raw organic almond butter

2 teaspoons of vanilla

pinch of salt

1 1/2 cup of vegan chocolate chips

For this recipe you will use :

- a food processor   ( or a blender )

- measuring cups, and spoons

- a large bowl

- a cookie sheet

- a glass bowl

-pot

Directions

1.First in a food processor combine chickpeas, sugar, honey, almond butter, baking soda, a pinch of salt, and vanilla in food processor, blend until smooth.

2. Then transfer into a large bowl and stir in a half a cup of the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into relatively small balls and place them on your cookie sheet. ( make sure you have parchment paper down so your cookies don't stick)

3. Once your finished keep them in the freezer until frozen solid

4. In a pot on your stove heat the chocolate, you could also
use a bowl in the microwave but then you have to keep reheating it and it takes longer. When the chocolate is hot dip in the cookie dough balls, and place them back on the
parchment paper, and back into the freezer.

fun tip: if your having a party chocolate fondue fountains are a perfect way to coat the cookie dough balls

-Enjoy
